Blog tour continues with this review at Happily Ever Elephants (love the blogger’s kids with the book, don’t you?) The review talks about the way the book encourages kids to walk in another person’s shoes. It’s so hard! But, one thing I make clear in my presentation on the book, is that it’s not just hard for kids. Empathy is a tough thing for adults as well. Some people never quite get there. It’s something we all have to keep working on. I didn’t just write this books for kids. I wrote it for everyone. I wrote it for myself. We can never know exactly what another person is going through. We can all use a reminder to be more kind than we have to be.
